Marmite Characters (12pm)
I'm going to Birmingham to attend FantasyCon! This is my first FantasyCon and I am especially excited for this one as I'm appearing on panels with some lovely, amazing authors. I will also do my first official reading of THE PHOENIX KING (I am very nervous) and still debating on what section to read. If y'all have any suggestions, let me know!
Book Signing: Blackwells Oxford
I studied abroad at Oxford at Brasenose College through the Stanford Bing program, so returning to Oxford to sign my books feels both personal and surreal. It feels even more special because I am writing a dark academia novel and drawing inspiration from my time at Oxford. If you would like a signed and/or personalized copy, or simply gush about the beauty (and terror) of Oxford, drop by.
Book Signing: Forbidden Planet London
I will be signing books at the Forbidden Planet bookstore (179 Shaftesbury Ave, London) so if you want to snag a signed and/or personalized copy, drop by!
Virtual Event: Every Day's Fantasy with Aparna VErma, Wole Talabi, and S. L. Huang
Join me and fantasy authors Wole Talabi (Shigidi and the Brass Head of Obalufon) and S. L. Huang (The Water Outlaws) for a virtual panel hosted by Off the Beaten Path, an amazing indie bookstore!
The event is free. Scan the QR code to register.
Adult SFF Debut Virtual Panel
Join me and authors Kemi Ashing-Giwa (The Splinter in the Sky) and Ehigbor Okosun (Forged by Blood) for a virtual panel hosted by Utopia State of Mind on their YouTube channel! The event is free — you can stream here.
Book Launch
Come celebrate the official release of THE PHOENIX KING with me at BookPeople in Austin! The event is free, but please RSVP here. The event will include an author discussion, a reading, an audience Q&A, and a signing line. Yes, I’ll doodle in the book for you and make a personal message if so desired. It’ll be fun! May include nerdy jokes, rants about Indian mythology, and updates on Book 2. See you there!
